Day 18. Well, Well.
I had another tryout today. Go figure. Still no phone, thankfully today they didn’t change the location of tryouts on me! I was supposed to have soccer practice today but it got cancelled. So now I am thinking about how I have a HUGEEE tournament coming up this weekend so I am really nervous about that as well.
Onto fishing. I talked to a man today at the docks when I went to go pick up my dad today and was waiting for his boat. This man’s name was Nick. I wasn’t expecting to interview anyone so I didn’t really have anything to take a picture with or anything write down what he said but I think that I can recall most of his stories though some may not be perfect.
I didn’t ask Nick his last name. But I didn’t really think it was absolutely required. So Nick is 47 and he lives in San Diego and has 3 children. Nick’s says his best catch was a Mako shark he caught was a 22o Lb. He said that was his roughest trip he had ever had. Apparently he was down off the coast of Mexico and this terible storm comes in and almost tips the boat. 2 men went overboard luckily they got both back on board. He was a very nice fisherman who was waiting for his 21 year old son to come back from his first fishing trip.
Lateaaaa!
